A collaboration between Gibson and guitarists Hank Garland and Billy Byrd, this instrument was built to a more streamlined spec while retaining the top-of-the-line appointments of the L-5, and they sure delivered. Featuring the original Alnico V "Staple" single-coil pickups and a beautiful natural finish, as well as other nice appointments such as the Greek Urn logo, a gold-plated tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge, binding all around, you've got one stunning instrument.
