Sustainable menstruation is a project that provides women with an alternative to disposable sanitary napkins. Sanitary napkins are convenient, sure. They are a nightmare when it comes to disposal. Often found blocking drainage pipes, floating around in water bodies, littered by road side in rural spaces, they are a health hazard after their use. Supported by multiple organization, this team carries out familiarizing sessions, hand holds those converting to reusable products. A key part of the program is training the trainers spread the message across India and to all the countries that have a challenge disposing off sanitary waste.
It is a currently project by Rotary club of Platinum city and Rotary district 3190.
