From DEMO to FULLY PRODUCED SONG

As a songwriter, I always wondered how certain songs that are up on Spotify sounded like when it first came to the songwriter. Did the song change? Did it more or less stay the same?

I'm releasing my single Oh Strangeland on all streaming platforms this Friday, July 19th.. Here you will hear the original demo I had before I went to the studio.

Phil from Visionquest Sound helped me produce the song. I was hesitant at first since this song is special to me. We worked on it for many weeks, picking sounds, playing with harmonies, arranging sections etc.

Throughout the process, Phil would constantly make sure that the song we’d finish with was, at its core, the same song I came in with - the one that is true to who I am.
