3 Reasons Why Suffering Will Make you a Great Entrepreneur

3 Reasons Why Suffering Will Make you a Great Entrepreneur Hey Guys its Mario and today I am going to talk about why suffering will make you a Great Entrepreneur.

Watch this video if you want to learn how to turn your suffering into confidence in your abilities, self respect and how it eliminates regret.

3 ideas to keep in mind as you watch.

If you have found something you truly like to do and you are intentionally enduring pain to become great at it are you truly suffering?

People tend to like the things they are good at and sometimes they fall in love with it and cant imagine their lives without it. A Perfect example of this is Michael Jordan and basketball. He fell in love with the sport after becoming good at it and therefore he was able to put more hours into his craft than anyone else to become great at his craft.

People that choose what is easy or go with the flow without following their intuition are suffering much more than someone who is training for an outcome that involves ridiculous amounts of pain.

Reason 1: Life is Suffering and builds Confidence in your abilities.

One of the first tennets in Buddhism is that life is suffering.
Before buddha became enlightened He turned his back on an easy life as a prince he put himself through intense suffering by becoming an ascetic and starving himself, he chose this suffering and as a result in led him down a path of self discovery and ultimately enlightenment.
He inspired a lot of people and his teachings spread across the planet and transcended his time on earth as well.

The bottom line is that life and suffering come hand in hand, to avoid pain is to make your life devoid of meaning and ultimately true happiness.

Now Entrepreneurship is at its core desire, I'm not saying to give up all desires.
I'm saying that understand suffering is in direct correlation to a person' s success in whatever field they are in.

Think back to a point In your life when you were proud of yourself. These are moments of peak experience and those usually come after pushing yourself to do things that you never thought were possible or that made you push the boundaries of what was comfortable at the time

For example for me it was the first time I broke 5 minutes in the mile in my first year as a distance runner in high school. The time itself wasn’t great but I hit a goal I set.

The momentary pain I felt was worth it, because it is something that I will remember for the rest of my life.

Frame painful experiences you may have had in your past as reasons for you to continue moving forward with more resolve. By giving up you are not only letting down your future self but also your past self.

Reason 2: Suffering eliminates Regret

A fictional example, Lets look at Bruce Wayne aka Batman, the entire man' s life was suffering but you cant say his life was not meaningful he lost his parents at a young age, but instead of letting that destroy him, he decided to take control and dedicate his life to protecting his city although he was a mere mortal fighting villains with superhuman abilities he used his intelligence, preparation had work and creativity to give himself the upper hand in his fights.

He could have just partied and spent all his parents money and watch his city burn and sat on the side lines. Then become cynical in his old age, but instead he took action and did something about it.

This reminds me of the quote mans greatest burden is unfulfilled potential.

Reason 3: Suffering and sacrifices puts you in complete control of your own life.

The ability to Sacrifice the present for the future and delaying Instant gratification is something great Entrepreneurs have in spades, Think about people like Jeff Bezos, Sam Walton, and Elon Musk. Think about how long they can stay focused on their mission.

Staring at your greatest weaknesses with both eyes wide open and devising an effective plan to deal with them will affect the trajectory of your life.

This is extremely difficult to do because no one is 100% objective when it comes to their own performances.
Generally speaking if you are comfortable and not pushing into realms that don’t feel natural then you are not improving.
Like in nature you are either growing or dying.

Outro:
So I challenge you to go do something positive that does not feel natural and stretches your abilities in business, whether it be building out a funnel, making cold calls, or working on a problem you have been avoiding.

As an Entrepreneur your entire job is to solve peoples problems, the larger the problems you solve and the more widespread the problems are, the wealthier you will become.

Also, If you want to understand more about true human suffering and its relationship with self actualization, highly suggest reading man' s search for meaning by Victor Frankl this is an autobiography based on a true story about a man that endures true suffering in Nazi Concentration camps for 4 years and how it changes his life.
