Update - New Orleans: DUBAAKO - AKRADINBOSOM: Training Intensive and Ritual Retreat DUBAAKO: AKRADINBOSOM - Akan Deities of the 7-Day Week - Training Intensive and Ritual Retreat

New Orleans - July 27th

Dubaako means 'Eleven' in Akan. The Akan term for Deities/Goddesses and Gods is Abosom. The unique grouping of Abosom called the Akradin Abosom (Akradinbosom) is the group of eleven Abosom who animate the solar, lunar and planetary bodies which govern the seven-day week. The names of the eleven Akradinbosom are:

Awusi, Adwoa, Bena, Abenaa, Awuku, Akua, Yaw, Yaa, Aaba, Afi and Amen-Men.

The akradin or 'Soul-names' of Akan people, based upon the day of the week we are born, are derived from the Akradinbosom. The day of the week we are born indicates which of the Abosom was assigned to govern our Okra/Okraa (Soul - Divinity in the Head). The akradin or 'Soul-names' include: Kwesi, Akosua, Kwadwo, Adwoa, Kwabena, Abenaa, Kweku, Akua, Yaw, Yaa, Aaba, Kofi, Afua, Kwame and Amma (with many variations).

In Kamit the names of the eleven Akradinbosom are:

Ausar, Auset, Heru Behdety, Sekhmet, Set, Nebt Het, Heru Son of Ausar and Auset, Wadjet, Nekhebet, Het Heru and Amen Men (Min).

In Yoruba these same Deities are the Orisha whose names are:

Obatala, Oodua, Ogun, Iyaami Abeni, Eshu, Agberu, Shango, Oya, Oba, Oshun and Orisha Oko.

The eleven Akradinbosom not only govern the solar, lunar and planetary bodies, but also govern the eleven major body systems:

Endocrine, Reproductive, Immune, Lymphatic, Nervous, Renal, Circulatory, Respiratory, Digestive, Exocrine and Skeletal

Additionally, The Akradinbosom governing the eleven major body-systems are also manifest through Body of Asaase (Earth) including:

Black Earth, River Waters, Thermosphere (Ionosphere), Earth's Inner Core, Red Earth, Rain Waters, Thunder and Lightening, Winds and Magnetosphere, Stratosphere and Polar Axis

This year marks the eleventh year since we first published on the Akradinbosom. We are the first to provide an extensive analysis of the Akradinbosom of any scholar or ritualist in Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa) or outside of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa). We are institutionalizing our veneration of the AKRADINBOSOM with our retreat which will be an annual event.

We will have vegan food and also will give out AKRADINBOSOM Volumes 1 and 2 as well as volumes 3 and 4 which will are new releases. These four volumes are what we will be studying during the intensive.

Sessions facilitated by: Odwirafo Kwesi Ra Nehem Ptah Akhan
Special guest panelist: Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux

The Akradinbosom govern all natural cycles of Creation, the different systems of the body and our Okra/Okraa. We must understand who they are just as people have an understanding of the major Orisha. We will fully examine them as well as the process of establishing a shrine, nkommere, specifically for your Kradinbosom.

The registration fee is $60 which covers the books, vegan food and training. We also have a deposit option 50% ($30) to reserve your spot and the remaining 50% ($30) within two weeks.

Reserve your space today. Our institutionalization of the veneration of the Akradinbosom is an Ancestral mandate. We have come into contact with many Akan people in Ghana who do not know that Akradinbosom even exist. They believe that their names are simply 'day-names'. We also note that the vast majority of Akan 'practitioners' in america are under the same false assumption - until they began reading our work. Restoring the consciousness of the Akradinbosom is critical to AKYISAN - Ancestral Religious Reversion. Our Akan analysis of these Deities also enhances other traditions knowledge of these Deities in their own systems including Yoruba, Ewe, Igbo and more.

Space is limited. Register now to reserve your spot:
