A suspicious fire broke out in the back of several houses below the I-5 freeway. A young man said he was sleeping and woke up smelling smoke. When he went to the backyard, his neighbors’ fence and the vegetation was on fire.
He grabbed a garden hose and climb a large fence and started to pour water on the fire. His actions stopped the flames from spreading further. Firefighters quickly put out the fire after arriving.
