Section of MPs call for immediate implementation of ban on sachet waragi

A section of Members of Parliament are calling for the immediate implementation of the parliamentary resolution to have the production of sachet waragi banned.


Led by Western Region Youth MP Mwine Mpaka, the MPs claim despite the ban, production of sachet waragi still continues unabated.


The MPs are concerned that this drink is destructing the youth.
