This is a short talk about how we might re-visit thinking about questioning in the drama classroom. Challenging accepted current practice of 'questions at the start to recap', and 'questions at the end against set performance criteria' with 'targeted questioning because this is what is expected', this video opens up alternative ways of questioning harnessing what lies inherently within the educational drama dynamic.
It is consequently concerned with critical, resistant pedagogy and sets out to alleviate pressure and negativity and ease the flow of genuine learner thinking and teacher creativity.
