No Show Today, Or Is There? Is This All A Dream? – That Pedal Show

No Show Today, Or Is There? Is This All A Dream? – That Pedal Show Hello fine people! A quick vid to say sorry but we've had issues with getting today's show up in time. The reasons include broadband, balls-ups, bereavement and being boverrun with our day jobs. (This originally said boverrun with our bday bjobs, which was construed as rude rather than awfully amusing alliteration).

We hope this week's show will be up tomorrow, or before. It's on voltage and how it affects the sound of pedals.

Cheers all and thanks for your understanding.

Edit:
A few people have asked what gear is used here... If you pause over the pedalboard shot, the following info will make more sense...

The Vox AC15 is the dry amp, so only gets the overdrives and compressor... but its own tremolo and reverb are also on, so it's not really dry at all.

The Super Reverb gets everything from the board, and its reverb is on.

The intro tone uses both amps: Klon - Boonar - Supro Trem (harmonic) - Union T&T compressor.
Then I loop that and once the loop is playing, it's only coming out of the Super Reverb.
To play the other parts I also switch on The Duellist and the Analogman Delay and the Boss Dimension C. The drives and compressor go to both amps, but the delays, harmonic trem and Dim C only come out of the Super Reverb.
Where it's more overdriven, both sides of the Duellist are on, and where it's less overdriven, only the TS side is on.
Then I muck about with the time and feedback levels on both delays.

I also added some Lexicon 480 reverb to the amp mics via a UAD plugin in our Apollo 8p and some Teletronix LA-2A on the final mix. (I never do reverb and compression on TPS mixes normally, but this is a bit of fun and sounds more 'produced').
That's it I think!

Maybe there's an ambient Mick in there somewhere after all.

See you soon!
