Pull orange pin to let blue frame move up under the action of green spring. A small deformation S of the green spring can give the blue frame a long displacement L. Two yellow gears are fixed together.
Pink rack is in mesh with the small gear (Zp = 16 teeth).
Blue rack is in mesh with the large gear (Zb = 18 teeth).
L = S.Zb/(Zb-Zp)
If (Zb-Zp) is small and Zb is large, L can be very large.

Two red pins play role of stoppers for the blue frame.
Push the blue frame to move it down.
For easy manufacture use cable drives instead of gear-rack ones.
