Dramatic twist to NEIGRIHMS deadlock; KSU puts premier health institute under lock and key

Crisis at the Northeastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences is just refusing to die.
The Khasi Students Union is up in arms against the recent turn of events and are demanding removal of Director Dr DM Thappa. If that was not all the students body today put the Director's office under lock and key for at least two hours.
Meanwhile, the Meghalaya High Court has asked the Director and Head of Cardiology department to file separate affidavits before May 16. The High court also pulled up the Amrit Pharmacy.
