It’s hard to think of a movie that’s inspired more anticipation than Avengers: Endgame. Whether you’re a fan of original Avengers like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Black Widow or the newer characters like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man, Endgame offered something for everyone. The culmination of a 22 movie arc played out over 10 years, Endgame concluded the stories of some of the most beloved characters in pop culture history. At the same time, it sent others into the future, ready to lead the team as they face new threats. There are many scenes in the film that could be considered important, whether because they’re essential for a specific character, they show the strength of the relationships the characters have forged, or they’re pivotal to the plot. Sometimes a scene does all three. But for our money, there was only one scene that spoke to the universe that Marvel’s built — and the fact that it will continue even after the dust from Endgame has settled. In this video, we’ll talk about the scenes that were runners-up for the designation of most important and the set-up that led to the scene we’ve decided deserves the title.
